What does Bhavana mean?
A word with spiritual depth and purpose
Bhavana is a Pali/Sanskrit word meaning development or growth. It is the cultivation of all that makes us human, such as the mind (citta-bhāvanā), the body (kāya-bhāvanā), wisdom (pañña-bhāvanā), and benevolence (mettā-bhāvanā) through contemplation. Knowing and developing ourselves through observing our instincts and sensations and becoming what we desire.
This name wasn't chosen randomly or solely for its meaning. The inspiration came while I was on one of the Vipassana silent meditation retreats, which I've had the opportunity to attend several times. It's a meditation that has helped me profoundly in many ways, and among the various techniques it comprises, the final one is called mettā-bhāvanā, in which we develop loving-kindness, wishing for the happiness and liberation of all beings. It's a practice that inspires me daily, and I hope that every person who comes to us by chance or intentionally is touched by this pure and true love, and that it guides them in their own self-knowledge and development.
Our mission and purpose
Our intention is to offer services focused on the reconnection between the body, soul, and spirit within you, primarily utilizing the ancestral sound of Himalayan Tibetan singing bowls, as well as other tools that facilitate this alignment with your true life purpose.
The objective is:
• Contribute to people's lives with the benefits of sound therapy using metal bowls, by making them vibrate with love and intention.
• Support the cultivation of presence and awareness in each client, guiding them toward self-observation and self-knowledge of their body, emotions, and sensations, and thus toward the development and connection with their own inner wisdom.
